Our proposal offers several important
features that serve to enhance the vital public safety function of the
Pikes Peak System. Briefly, they include:

1. System is completely compatible with existing Rocky Mountain
"front range II ALERT networks.

2. Compatibility allows for "networking" of base stations with
other ALERT users and the National Weather Service.

3. System is the Irleading edge II of both hardware and software
technology.

4. System offers a choice of more options than any other source.

5. Enhanced ALERT Software, offered exclusively by Sierra/Misco,
is the most powerful flood warning software available.

6. Most experience with ALERT systems with over 80 installations
worldwide.

7. System is similar to one that was cited by the National Society of
Professional Engineers in 1985 as "One of the Ten Outstanding
Engineering Achievements in the U.S."

8. Sierra/Misco offers the most broadly based in-house support
available in the industry. No other company has the depth of
expertise in both hardware and software for flood warning systems.

9. Project management approach with dedicated manager working in
unison with Pikes Peak project manager will meet 90 day start-up
goal and ensure successful project design, implementation and
operation.

Sierra/Misco is excited about working on this project and continuing our
commitment to public safety.
