OUr
"primary system configuration" meets the specification in every detail.
Options are available for the primary system which will provide additional
enhancements and benefits.

Sierra/Misco worked closely with the National Weather Service to develop
the first ALERT system in the late 1970's. Since then, we have installed
over 80 systems worldwide. No other company in this field comes close to
matching our ALERT experience I

Enhanced ALERT software is written by our software and technical subsidiary
International Hydrological Services, or IHS. This software represents the
most advanced environmental data acquisition software available today. .
Noting this, nine National Weather Service offices across the United states
use Enhanced ALERT and four more are scheduled for implementation within
the next few months.

Regicnal Service Centers have been set up by Sierra/Misco to provide local
support for our domestic systems. These centers are located in Hartford,
CT, Austin, TX and Sacramento, CA. Both sales and service support are
available from these service centers.

If you have any questions or need additional assistance of any kind, please
do not hesitate to call me. My direct line is 408-978-6757 or you can
contact Dave Curtis of Sierra/Mis co and IHS at 916-929-8861.

I appreciate this opportunity to bid on your requirements and look forward
to working with you. Thank you for your time and your consideration.

Very truly yours,

SIi~~

Robert E.
