(Overheads available on request from Ken Torp.) <br />· Comments: California's Title 22 not based on risk-based science, rather it is based on <br />treatment technology. Colorado Springs has done some risk assessment analysis which <br />would suggest more lax fecal chloroform limits, i.e., 200-500/m1. A thorough risk analysis <br />probably should precede any regulations requiring expensive investment in re-use <br />technology. (Colorado Springs has peer-reviewed epidemiology study and 30 years of <br />experience which should "trump" the basis on which California developed its Title 22.) <br />. Some inclination to determine standards based on need to assure public and to respond to <br />perceived risks. <br />.
