<br />MEMBERSHIP <br /> <br />The Governor invited specific entities to participate in the ARCC. Each entity then <br />appointed the actual person to represent it at ARCC meetings. Participating members were <br />all volunteers and received no compensation or reimbursement of expenses from the State. <br />The following entities were included in the ARCC pursuant to the Executive Order: <br /> <br />Water Conservancy Districts <br />Southeastern Colorado Water Conservancy District, Purgatoire River Water <br />Conservancy District, Upper Arkansas River Water Conservancy District, <br />Water User Associations <br />Arkansas Valley Ditch Association ("A VDA"), Colorado Water Protective and <br />Development Association ("CWPDA"), Arkansas Groundwater Users Association <br />("AGUA"), Lower Arkansas Water Management Association ("LA WMA"), District <br />67 Water Users Association; <br />Maior Canal Companies <br />Amity, Bessemer, Catlin, Ft Lyon, High Line; <br />City Utility Al!encies <br />Lamar, Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Trinidad; <br />County Commissioners <br />Bent, Chaffee, Crowley, EI Paso, Fremont, Kiowa, Lake, Las Animas, Otero, <br />Prowers, Pueblo, Teller; <br />Arkansas River Compact Administration <br />three Colorado members: consisting of the Director of the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board ("CWCB") and two water right owners, one from above and one <br />from below John Martin Reservoir; <br />Ex Officio Members <br />Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Natural Resources, State <br />Engineer, Director of the Division of Wildlife, and Director of the Division of Parks <br />and Outdoor Recreation. <br /> <br />The ARCC was chaired jointly by the State Engineer and the Director of the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board_ The Colorado Department of Natura I Resources provided support staff <br />for the committee. Specifically, individuals from the State Engineer's Office, the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board staff, and the Divisions of Wildlife and Parks provided technical <br />and administrative assistance through contributing members on the committee and its <br />subcommittees. <br /> <br />4 <br />
