SUBJECT: Bureau of Reclamation's Draft Colorado River System
Consumptive Uses and Losses--1980-1985,

As discussed in my July 21, 1989 memorandum to you, enclosed is
a copy of Clint Steven's graphical comparison of the data contained i~
the draft "Colorado River System Consumptive Uses and Losses Report--
1981-1985" with data contained in the previous two consumptive uses
and losses reports. The enclosed material may assist you in reviewing
the Bureau's draft consumptive uses and losses report and in preparing
your comments on that report, The Bureau's current comment deadline
is October 2, 1989.

Please contact either Clint or me with your comments on the
Bureau's draft consumptive uses and losses report as soon as con-
venient. When your comments are received, the Commission Staff
will prepare a draft set of Commission comments that will be sent
to you for your review prior to being transmitted to the Bureau of
Reclamation.

The consumptive use data contained in the Bureau's consumptive
uses and losses reports are in Lotus files and can be made available
to you upon request.
