On the main pumps no important change in condition <br />was found to have taken place since the previous inspection in <br />December 1940. The pump runners at Intake and Gene were <br />entirely free from cavitation. At Irun Mountain, slight cavitation <br />was noted on the lower seal rings, necessitating repair by chip- <br />ping out and welding with stainless steel. At Eagle Mountain <br />and Hayfield, the slight runner cavitation evident the previous <br />year showed no increase. The paint originally applied by the <br />
