:):;:'<136

.

March 9, 1994

Mr. Ken Knox
Colorado Division of Water
Resources
1540 East Niagara
Montrose CO 81402

Dear Ken:

.

On February 9, Keith was in on a conference call with Mike
Gross, Randy Seaholm, and myself. (Tyler Martineau had
planned on being involved, but was not able to do SO.)
Discussions focused on flow revisions for East River model
inflows (see supporting information provided in Section C).
Based on discussions, it was agreed that the zero average
monthly April, May, and June flows identified for INFL26, 31,
and 32 could be fixed by distributing all East River inflows
by the core station "East River at Almont 09112500"
pattern. It was further agreed that inflow descriptions,
summary statistics, and hydrographs of mean monthly flows for
all model inflows be provided for review. Based on review, a
"final" version of model inflows would be provided to
Hydrosphere. We would like to provide these flows prior to
the end of the second round of beta testing which is scheduled
for April 15. We would like to provide these flows by March
15 (March 18 at the latest) in order that a version of the
model with final flows in place could be provided to the Beta
testers prior to the end of the testing period.

I am enclosing supporting information on inflows for the
entire planning model network coverage for your review.

I have also included supporting information on irrigated
agriculture consumptive use rates used in developing
agricultural demand and depletion estimates.
(If you need more background information, please call me.)

The enclosed notebook is divided into sections covering
inflows by sub-basin:

section A: Gunnison mainstem and tributaries from Town
of Gunnison to Crystal Dam (tributaries include Cebolla,
Lake Fork, Cimarron, and Soap Creeks)

section B: Ohio Ck. and Gunnison mainstem from Almont to
Tomichi Ck.

Section C: East River inflows

Section D: Taylor River inflows

'.

Section E: Tomichi Ck., Quartz Ck., and Cochetopa Ck.
inflows
