<br />that was being used for the first lime. the Las Animas Golf Course <br />Account. <br />The Fort Lyon Canal used their account in John Martin Reservoir as <br />an emergency place to store water that they were forced to evacuate <br />from their Blue Lake north of Las Animas, Colorado. Their dam, there, <br />started to leak and they were forced to seek a different place of storage. <br />There is a very good supply of water stored on November 1, 1984, to be <br />carried forward into the 1985 irrigation season. We had a large snow <br />storm along the foothiHs of the Rocky Mountains early in the fall which <br />immediately started to melt giving a large boost to the contents of John <br />Martin Reservoir.
