The Bureau will also be receiving comments on the alignment, <br />terminus, and storage recommendations made by the Committee on Alignment, <br />Terminus, and Storage (CATS) and submitted to the Bureau through the Southern <br />Arizona Water Resources Association (SAWARA), a local citizens group. The <br />meeting places, dates, and times are shown on the following page. <br /> <br />To help the public become familiar with the two alternative plans under <br />consideration and the CATS recommendations the Bureau has prepared the enclosed <br />Information Packet. The technical information summarized in this Packet and <br />public comment will be used to select the plan which will be identified as the <br />agency's proposed action in the Tucson Aqueduct-Phase B Planning <br />Report/Environmental Impact Statement. <br /> <br />Please take the opportunity to review this Information Packet. Questions can <br />be answered at the public meetings or can be directed to the Bureau's Offices <br />in Tucson or Phoenix. A response form has been included at the back of the <br />packet so you can send us your written comments. If it is not convenient for <br />you to use the response form, oral and written comments will be taken at the <br />public meetings.
