ARNULF DAHLBERG, Page 3 of 4

computer methods on the Ganges River to determine the effect on the
water surface profile caused by the proposed project.

Sirikit Dam Project, Thailand (1969-1972). Developed computer
programs for analysis of slope stability of dam embankment by
Modified Swedish Slip Circle and by Morgenstern Methods.

Mahaweli Ganga Multipurpose Project, Sri Lanka (1968-1970). Was
responsible for designing and implementing a computer model for
simulating the integrated operation of several individual multi-
purpose projects, including the Polgolla Transbasin Diversion
Project. Prepared design computations and drawings for Polgolla
Power Plant consisting of two generating units of 20 MW each.

Senior Design Engineer, Engineering Consultants, Inc., Denver, Colorado
(1964-1969).

Three Basins Project, Sri Lanka (1967-1969). Responsibilities:
Project Engineer. Project consisted of a feasibility study of the
development of the water resources of three major river basins in
southeastern Sri Lanka. The proposed development consisted of seveg
earth and rockfill dams with combined storage capacity of 4.9 x 10
cubic meters and three hydroelectric power plants with total
capacity of 150 MM. Major project benefits were water supply, flood
control and hydroelectric power generation.

Samanala Multipurpose Project, Sri Lanka (1965-1967). Was respon-
sible for project operation studies and for planning and design of
power plant in connection with project feasibility study. Power
plant had four generating units of 35 MW each driven by Francis-type
turbines with design head of 1,080 feet.

Nan River Project, Thailand (1964-1966). Developed
programs for optimization of storage and hydroelectric
facilities for proposed multipurpose project.

computer
generating

Desi~n Engineer, Engineering Consultants, Inc., Denver, Colorado (1961-
1964. Responsibilities included preparation of detailed structural
design computations and construction drawings for the Bhumibol Power
Plant, Thailand with installed capacity of 560 MW and the Kremasta Power
Plant, Greece with installed capacity of 400 MW.

Civil Engineer, Snowy Mountains Authority, Australia (1956-1961).
Worked in the System and Project Branches of the Development Division and
later in the Power Stations Branch of the Civil Engineering Design
Division. Responsibilities included preparation of preliminary layouts
and cost estimates of complete power developments including the locating
and economic sizing of reservoirs, tunnels, power and pumping plants in a
system of interdependent power projects with a combined capacity of
approximately 2,500,000 kW. Made studies of hydraulic problems in
connection with long transmountain diversion and integrated power gener-
