00J281

I
IHfANCED ALERT SCFIWARB \

\
\
The HANDAR Enhanced Alert Software is ~i proprietary software
program developed by HANDAR for use with the Hl~ Alert System. It
operates under the ~X (~) Multi-Tasking Opera~ing System software.

This program provides all the necessary fuJ,ctions to install and
configure the system network, and colIect, store" process, and display
the data. All these functions are possible at th~ same time the base
station is receiving data from remote stations. '\
,

"
'\,

"
Unique Macro I,nsuuction Peatnrc ''1

The HANDAR Enhanced Alert Software is completely mjenu driven for
ease of use. In addition it has a unique MACRO feature\ that requires
only a single word or name to represent any number Jf keystrokes.
Consequently, displays or printouts of text or graphic~\l data can be
called up quickly by untrained personnel by simply typiJ~ in a single
predefined name, tather than a large number of keystroke.'.. Figure 9
shows an example of a list of defined macros from which tflC operator
can select.

Tcxt Data Displays

The software provides for a versarile selection of data displays
in text or graphical form. Data in text form can list the value of
each sensor selected with a date and time record, as shown in Figure
10. This data display can be chosen for any number of sensors over
any selected time period. Data off screen Can be viewed by use of the
up, down, left, and right scrolling keys.

Anothet format, the Current Data Synopsis, displays the data over
a predefined time format, as shown in Figure 11.

For analysis of data, a Summary format of the data is quite
useful. Data for any sensor, time period, and time interval can be
chosen and a choice of last data, average, minimum, maximum, and
difference can be chosen. Archived data can, therefore, be quickly
analyzed without the need for further software programs. An example
of this summary format is shown in Figure 12.

18
