The \Vholesale Delivery <br />Charge fund has a balance of $43.9 <br />million for the Fiscal Year ended June 30. <br />2000. The \Vhotesale Delivery Charge <br />has remained at $157 per acre-foot since <br />July 1996. \Vholesale Delivery charges are <br />paid by pur....eyor members of the Water <br />Authority for water delivered to their <br />systems. Purveyor membe~ then mm'e the <br /> <br />water throughout their systems and sell the <br />water to their retail customers. The \Vater <br />Authority has no retail customers. <br /> <br />For the Fiscal Year ended June 30. 2000, <br />the Water Authority received 568.9 <br />million in revenues. Operating expenses <br />totaled $67.2 million. The largest single <br />operating expense is the cost of electric <br />power required (0 pump water from Lake <br />Mead into the Las Vegas Valley.
