<br />. <br /> <br />In the event that California has not reduced its use in amounts equal to the above <br />Benchmark Quantities, the interim surplus detenninations under Sections 2(B)(I) and <br />2(B)(2) of these Guidelines will be suspended and w~l instead be based upon the 70R <br />Strategy, lOr up to the remainder of the period ~entiflCd in Section4(A). Ifhowever, <br />California meets the missed Benchmark Quantity before the next Benchmark Dale. the <br />interim surplus determinations under Sections 2(8)( 1) and 2(B)(2) shall be reinstated <br />as the basis for the surplus deternlinations under the AOP for the next following <br />year(sl.
