<br />APPENDIX "e" <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION IN MEMORIAM <br />TO JOHN T. MARTIN <br /> <br />Be it resolved by the Arkansas River Compact Administration: <br /> <br />We pause to express our profound grief caused by the untimely <br />passing of our fQlrner associate John T. Martin on April 15. 1971. <br /> <br />From 1953 to 1963. when he retired from federal service, John <br />T. Martin was the official representative of the Albuquerque District. <br />Corps of Engineers, to the Arkansas River Compact Administration. He <br />also served as an engineering advisor to the Federal Representative and <br />Chairman. His knowledge and understanding of technical problems <br />related to reservoir operation and river administration were of <br />invaluable aid in the accomplishment of our purposes. His loyalty and <br />enthusiJsm were outstanding and he will be remembered as a proficient, <br />cooperative and understanding publiC servant. <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />To his survivors we express our deepest sympathy, knowing that <br />they may obtain solace by the memory of a life well lived. <br /> <br />It is directed that this resolution be spread upon the minutes of <br />this Administration and that a copy thereof be sent to Mrs. Martin. <br /> <br />ARKANSAS RIVER COMPACT ADMINISTRATION <br />DECEMBER 14, 1971 <br /> <br />_ ,:-30- <br />
