Also a few.lands tracts that were id}e at the time of the 1942 survey have now been developed for agriculture or other purposes. The changes that have been made in the ownership and development of the land are of such minor consequence in the over-all planning for the area, however, that the expense of a land resurvey was considered unjustified at this time and data from the 1942 survey were considered adequate for this report. In the definite plan investigations that would precede any construction work undertaken by the Bureau of Reclamation, a detailed survey would be made of project lands, and the Bureau's development plans would be adjusted as necessary to include only lands then in non-Indian ownership and in need of water and tracts of Indian lands interspersed among non-Indian lands that could not practicably be served by the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
