SAN JUANIRIO GRANDE NATIONAL FORESTS SAN LUIS RESOURCE AREA PROJECT UPDATE February 9, 1998 This document is a composite of proposed projects in various stages across the San JuanJRio Grande National Forests and the San Luis Resource Area, We have provided basic information for these projects in this Project Update; for further information on how you can participate or receive coPies of the documents as they become available, please contact the person listed with that individual project. This Project Upda~e is for the time period of January, February, and March 1998, The next issue of the Project Update is scheduled for the time period of April, May and June, 1998, The environmental analyses may be documented with an Environmental Assessment (EA) and Decision Notice' (DN), and :!l:nvironmentallmpact Statement (EIS) and Record of Decision (ROD), or be cat- egorically exc1ude4 (CE) from further documentation (if the project has no extraordinary circum- stances and no significant effect on the quality of the human environment), The issues you raise will help us conduct the analysis and improve decision making, GET INY OL YED!
