This canal serves

land along the northerly side of the river channel, terminating at a point approxi-

mately 1/4 mile west of the proposed Narrows Dam site. This taking will,

effectively, eliminate the entire Weldon Valley Canal. The taking will include all

of the land irrigated by this facility.

Fort Morgan Canal

The Fort Morgan Canal headgate lies approximately 6-1/2 ditch miles

westerly of the proposed Narrows Dam. The proposed taking will require new

headgate facilities and possible realignment of this canal.
Riverside Canal

Small sections of the Riverside Canal lie within the proposed fee taking

and flood easement. Some realignment of this canal would be required.

Work & Dragman Ditch

Approximately 2-1/4 miles of the Work & Dragman Ditch lie within the fee

taking and flood easement. This portion of this ditch would be abandoned due to

the proposed taking.
Weld County Site

Riverside Ca.nal

The Riverside Canal intake lies approximately 9 ditch miles westerly of

the proposed Weld County Dam site. This proposed taking will require a new
headgate and possible canal realignment.

_c'__ ..~O.-_~~=_~__~T~,"_
