<br />00112 :1,1 <br /> <br />none of which can be built as economically as the original proposed site. <br />To optimize the lawfully available water supplies will require strategic- <br />ally located storage capacity of 860,000 acre feet. <br /> <br />The increase in firm annual yield to the present Denver system from <br />the operation of the Two Forks Reservoir is estimated to be 88,000 acre <br />feet per year which could increase by as much as 57,000 acre feet per year <br />as the result of the regulation of yields from the Eagle-Piney, the East <br />Gore and the Straight Creek Units of the Roberts Tunnel Collection system. <br /> <br />The cost of construction is estimated to be $239,OOO,OOO.00 in 1980 <br />dollars and the development period, including time for site specific <br />environmental analyses, permitting and construction is estimated to be 12 <br />years. <br /> <br />Gross Reservoir Enlargement <br /> <br />The Gross Reservoir Enlargement will increase the existing capacity <br />of Gross Reservoir (42,000 acre feet) to 113,000 acre feet, total. <br /> <br />Water rights for the enlargement have been adjudicated. <br /> <br />The increase in firm annual yield to the Denver system from the <br />operation of the enlarged Gross Reservoir is estimated to be 17,000 acre <br />feet per year. <br /> <br />The cost of construction of the enlargement is estimated to be <br />$112,000,000.00 in 1980 dollars and the development period, including site <br />specific environmental analyses, permitting and construction is estimated <br />to be 10 years. <br /> <br />-8- <br />
