He explained a number of modifications <br />which were considered, and advised they finally agreed that the "peaking <br />system" would be the most economical and feasible from two Plants" rather <br />than the seven. He also advised that the "pump storagell concept was accepted <br />with great lavor, <br /> <br />RECORD DF PROCEEDINB <br /> <br />Mr. Ogilvie also reported that the 1965 flood in the Arkansas Valley caused <br />them to reconsider the entire progra~ of Pueblo Reservoir, and to suggest <br />some rather significant changes In this facility to meet the potentialities of <br />future floods, <br /> <br />A number of statistical charts were then shown to the Board, which outlined <br />the engineering changes as recommended by the Bureau of Reclamation. Mr. <br />Ogilvie advised that these items would be relined and presented to the Board <br />of Directors at their regular meeting on April 13, in order that they might be <br />Included in the minutes of that meeting and in the records of the District. <br /> <br />".-,' <br /> <br />~ . . <br /> <br />Several Directors indicated they had specific questions they would ilke to ask at <br />the April 13 meeting, and stated they appreciated the fact that Mr. Ogilvie took <br />of his busy schedule to prepare this preliminary report lor the Board, prior <br />to addressing a number of public meetings, <br /> <br />President Nichols advised that this matter would be on the Agenda at the April <br />13 meeting, and encouraged all of the members to read carefully all material <br />sent to them on the matter.
