Location': <br /> <br />The legal description of the stream segment through which an <br />instream flow is claimed: The natural stream channel of Yampa River <br />with the upper terminus being the confluence of the Yampa River <br />with the Williams Fork River in the NW\4 of the NW\4 of section 31, <br />Township 6 North, Range 91 West, of the 6th Principal Meridian and <br />the lower terminus being the confluence of the Yampa with the <br />Little Snake River in the SW\4 of the SW\4 of section 19, Township <br />6 North, Range 98 West of the 6th-principal Meridian. This is the <br />middle reach of three potential recovery instream flow reaches on <br />the Lower Yampa River and will be referred to as Yampa Reach 2. <br />The length of the segment is approximately 82 miles and can be <br />located on the Round Bottom, Horse Gulch, Juniper Hot Springs, <br />Juniper Mountain, Maybell, Sunbeam, Peck Mesa, Cross Mountain, and <br />Twelve Mile Mesa U.S.G.S. quadrangles. <br /> <br />4. a. <br />1995. <br /> <br />Date of initiation of appropriation: <br /> <br />13, <br /> <br />December <br /> <br />b.
