This release is the latest in a series for Colorado. <br /> <br />Basic-data releases have been used widely by water users, well drillers, <br /> <br />and State agencies for planning, development, and management. <br /> <br />The report, Basic-Data Release No. 19, entitled "Hydrogeologic <br /> <br />data from Baca and southern Prowers Counties, Colorado," is based on <br /> <br />a study made by the Geological Survey in cooperation with the Colorado <br /> <br />Water Conservation Board. The purpose of this study was to inventory <br /> <br />the water resources, document and evaluate the effects of development. <br /> <br />The report includes an irrigation well location map, records of <br /> <br />well construction and yield, chemical analyaes of water, water-level <br /> <br />measurements, and well logs. <br /> <br />Copies may be <br /> <br />obtained from the office of the Director, Colorado <br /> <br />Board, l~umb1ne Bldg., 1845 Sherman St., <br /> <br />Water Conservation <br /> <br />Denver, Colo. 80203.
