Draft Environmental Statements. On some draft statements it <br />may be appropriate to attach environmental assessments, eval- <br />uations, or study reports prepared by applicB.(lts, solicited from <br />consultants, or submitted by other Federal agencies or concerned <br />entities. <br /> <br />B. Final Environmental Statements. Final statements may include <br />excerpts from or digests of environmental assessments, eval- <br />uations, or study reports prepared by applicants, solicited <br />from consultants, or submitted by oUler Federal agencies or <br />concerned entities. <br /> <br />Attachments to the final environmental statement shall include <br />ail written responses from (in this order): <br /> <br />(II Bureaus and offices with delegated jurisdiction or special <br />envirorunental experti.se within Interior; <br /> <br />(21 Other Federal agencies with jurisdiction by law or special <br />environmental expertise; <br /> <br />(3) State and local agencies authorized to develop or enforce <br />envirorunental standards; <br /> <br />(4) Responsible private organizations and associations that <br />represent the opinions of wider groups concerrJng the pro- <br />posed action or the environmental impact of the proposed <br />action; and <br /> <br />(5) <br /> <br />Recognized experts. <br /> <br />0220 <br /> <br />376-4 - 1/12/72 <br />
