<br />-~ <br /> <br />APPENDIX "C-3" <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE <br />ARKANSAS RIVER COMPACT <br />ADMINISTRATION <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />May 10, 1984 <br />Las Animas, Colorado <br /> <br />A special meeting of the Arkansas River Compact Administrauon was <br />held at the Bent's Fort Inn in Las Animas. Colorado. on May 10, t984. The <br />agenda for the meeting is included as Attachment A. <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:50 a.m. (MDT) by Mr. Carl <br />Bentrup, Vice-Chairman. The following members of the Administration <br />were in attendance. <br /> <br />For Kansas: <br />Carl E. Bcntrup <br />Ronald OIomon <br />David Pope <br />For Colorado: <br />Carl Genova <br />Leo Idler <br />J. William McDonald <br /> <br />Deerfield. Kansas <br />Garden City, Kam.as <br />Topeka. Kansas <br /> <br />Pueblo, Colorado <br />Lamar. Colorado <br />Denver, Colorado <br /> <br />Mr. Bentrup introduced the Kansas metnbers of the Administration, <br />as well as Messrs. Howard Corrigan, Dale Jacobs, Lee Rolfs, and Jerry <br />Hilmes from Kansas. Mr. McDonaJd introduced the Colorado members of <br />the Administration, and Messrs. Gene Jencsok, Bill Paddock, Bob Jesse, <br />and Bill Howland from Colorado. <br />The first item on the agenda was the reviey.. and approval of the <br />minutes of the August 26, 1983, special meeting. Several minor changes <br />and typographical corrections were offered by Mr. McDonald. Mr. Pope <br />had some concern with language relating to the Administration's 1951 <br />resolution concerning Pueblo Reservoir. At Mr. McDonald's'suggestion, <br />the language \\'as deleted. Approval of these minutes was deferred to <br />later in the meeting to give the members additional time to review the <br />minutes. <br />The minutes of the December 13, 1983, annual meeting were reviewed <br />and, except for one typographical error, no changes were made. Mr. <br />McDonald moved the adoption of the December 13, 1983, minutes as <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />, <br />, <br />" <br /> <br />i <br />I <br /> <br />52 <br />
