<br />.I <br /> <br />APPENDIX "C-2" <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE <br />ARKANSAS RIVER COMPACT <br />ADMINISTRATION <br /> <br />SPECIAL TELEPHONIC MEETING <br /> <br />JANUARY 26, 1984 <br /> <br />A special telephonic meeting of the Arkansas River Compact <br />Administration was held on January 26, 1984. <br />The special telephonic meeting held by conference call was called to <br />order at 5 p.m. IMSTl by Mr. Carl E. Bentrup, Vice Chairman of the <br />Arkansas River Compact. Compact members participating in the <br />conference call were: <br />For Kansas <br />Carl E. Bentrup - Deerfield, Kansas <br />Ronald Olomon - Garden City, Kansas <br />For Colorado <br />Carl G. Genova - Pueblo, Colorado <br />Leo Idler - Lamar, Colorado <br />Mr. Idler moved, seconded by Mr. Olomon, the adoption of a resolution <br />concerning the John Martin Reservoir operating plan (see Attachment <br />Ai. There being no discussion. Mr. Bentrup called for a vote. The <br />resolution was passed upon the affirmative vote of both states. <br />/s/ Frank G. Cooley <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />CONCERNING <br />THE JOHN MARTIN RESERVOIR <br />OPERATING PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Arkansas IDver Compact Administration has adopted <br />a "Resolution Concerning an Operating Plan (or John Martin Reservoir," <br />which resolution was entered April 24, 1980; and <br />WHEREAS, paragraph VII of the said resolution provides that either <br />Colorado or Kansas, through its compact delegation, can give written <br />notice to the Administration by Fehruary 1 that the resolution shall be <br />terminated on the next succeeding March 31; and <br />WHEREAS, Colorado and Kansas agree that it would be desirable to <br />extend the date for giving of the written notice or termination due <br />February 1, 1984 until March 15, 1984. <br />NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that notwithstanding the <br />provisions of paragraph VII. A. of the "Resolution Concerning an <br /> <br />50 <br />
