We have not
proceeded yet with the Task 6 memorandum pending definition of further operations studies.
We believe there is sufficient budget remaining in Task 6 for some further well-focused
operational analyses and for complete documentation of the modeling effort.

Charges to Task 7 reflect ongoing activities related to preparation of the Preliminary
Environmental Assessment. We have a detailed outline of the document prepared and believe
that we now have nearly all the background information in hand to begin writing.

Charges to Task 8 reflect work on the Preliminary Biological Assessment, including
some time spent in the March 14 meeting. The revised Assessment was sent to Keith Rose,
and TSG members, on March 25.

Charges to Task 11 reflect a delayed invoice for expenses from Muller Engineering,

This invoice contains a line item for retainage monies withheld from the fees of
Woodward-Clyde, Peter Epp, and Hadley-Hollingsworth. A request for the release of these
retained amounts was the subject of separate communications to you.

Please feel free to call me if you have any questions or comments on our March work
effort.

cc: Bob Norman
J;litjtstlUl~Q\l-:_;.!l'

Hydrosphere Resource Consultants 1002 Walnut Suite 200 Boulder, Colorado 80302
G:\PROJECTSI1931001\PROGflUSIUtmne:CCRfATEO:A/'AIL8,1994,z,a3PMPRINTEO: Apnl 8. 1994l:09PM

liL;;~~
