The draft geophysical report
has not been received yet. With the exception of the relatively "tight" availability of borrow
material the engineering investigations have not turned up any surprises yet.

I have been informed by ITS that the DWG files and mylars of the new Elkhead
mapping will be done this week (by the 10th). They said they shipped the contact prints to me
today.

Under Task 6 we developed additional model runs for estimation of the Juniper
contemplated draft and for representation of Environmental Baseline conditions. The results of
these model runs were reviewed at the August 18 TSG meeting in Glenwood (a summary of
the meeting has been prepared and will be mailed shortly). At the meeting some further
refinements of the model runs were requested; some of this work got under way near the end
of the month.

Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions or comments on our August work
effort.

cc: Bob Norman
Bill Stanton

Hydrosphere Resource Consultants 1002 Walnut Suite 200 Boulder; Colorado 80302

j&i_~A:
