The provisions of the Administrative Code 'of 1941 (Chapter 2, <br />Colorado Session Laws. 1941), and all acts amendatory or suppleD;1entary thereto <br />shall be inapplicable to any acts or proceedings taken to carry out the purposes <br />of said compact. <br />SECTION 7. If any provisIon of this act or the application thereof to any person <br />or circumstances is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other -provisions <br />or appli<:ations of the act which can be given effect without the invaJid provision <br />or application, and to this end the provisions of this act are declared to be <br />severable. <br />SECTION 8. The General Assembly hereby :finds. determines, and declares that <br />this act is necessary for the immediate preservation of the publiC peace, health, <br />and safety. <br />SECTION 9. In the opinion of the General Assembly an .emergency exists; there. <br />fore. this Act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. <br /> <br />FRED C.
