Q: What is the objective of these Q&As? <br /> <br />A: To address some of the issues posed by the objective of conserving water used by irrigation <br /> <br />districts. <br /> <br />Q: When you refer to "irrigation districts", what do you mean? <br /> <br />A: I mean any special water district that provides water primarily for irrigation. As such, I do <br /> <br />not use "irrigation district" in a technical sense. <br /> <br />Q: When you refer to "conservation", what do you mean? <br /> <br />A: I mean reducing the amount of water that is applied to the land by irrigation districts and <br /> <br />their customers without reducing district net income.
