'. <br /> <br />:.F'. <br /> <br />,-u".:} <br /> <br />Cliffs-Divide Project <br /> <br />PARSHALL UNIT <br /> <br />'The Parshall Unit would use waters of the <br />Williams River and some of its tributaries with <br />regulation and storage in Ute Park Reservoir. The <br />Reservoir would have a capacity of 43,000 acre feet <br />of which 40,000 acre feet would be active. <br />This Unit would provide water to 27,500 acres <br />of land along the Williams River, on the south side <br />of the Colorado River below the mouth of the Williams <br />River, in the Li tt le Muddy Creek drainage, and along <br />the east side of the lower reaches of the Blue River', <br />The Blue River area, some of the area along the <br />Colorado River and the area in Little Muddy Creek <br />are all Gutside the Williams River Basin. Of the <br />total of 27,500 acres in this unit, 24,400 acres are <br />full service land and 3100 aores are supplemental <br />service. The average water supply provided to Unit <br />would be 68,700 acre feet per year. <br />Depletion of the flow of the Colorado River <br />is estimated at 28,600 acre feet per year. <br />The construction cost of the Unit is estimated <br />at $12,026;100 of which $8,171,900 is the estimated <br /> <br />cost of the Reservoir. , Annual operation and maintenance <br /> <br />costs are estimated at $32,700. <br />
