See Figure 11. The roaded <br />natural areas receive this classification due to the <br />proximity of roads and other developments near the <br />boundary. Cultural Resources <br /> <br /> <br />Although an intensive survey of the area has not <br />been conducted, a number of historic features have <br />been recognized. They include the Como Lake area, <br />Mosca Pass, and trail, Medano Pass, Music Pass, <br />Venable Pass, Hermit Pass, and Marble caves, all of <br />which played a role in the early history of the <br />area. The sites have not been evaluated to <br />determine their significance. No prehistoric sites <br />have been identified, although the WSA was <br />undoubtedly used for hunting and travel through the <br />passes. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />Non-Federal Forest Lands <br /> <br />\ <br /> <br />The San Isabel National Forest portion of the WSA <br />includes about 140 acres of private lands. See <br />Figure 12.
