Records of diversions <br /> <br /> <br />from and surface returns to the Colorado River, including the record <br /> <br /> <br />of diversions from Lake Havasu furnished by The Metropolitan Water <br /> <br /> <br />District of Southern California, are also published in the Geological <br /> <br /> <br />Survey's Water Supply Papers. <br /> <br />l~e Geological Survey also maintains records of diversions by <br />miscellaneous users pumping from the river or from wells in the <br />flood plain of the river for agricultural use. However, for the most <br />part, measurements have not been made for small domestic uses along <br />the river. Surface inflow fram tributaries to the Colorado River <br />below Hoover Dam, except for the Bill Williams and Gila Rivers, is not <br />measured directly. but is included as a part of the normal river supply <br />in daily operations. The same applies to any underground flow to the <br />river. <br /> <br />The Bureau of Reclamation annually assembles the diversion and return <br /> <br /> <br />flow data into a report pursuant to the provisions of Article V of the <br /> <br /> <br />March 9, 1964, Decree of the Supreme Court of the United States in <br /> <br /> <br />Arizona v.
