The following Subcontracting <br />status report lists the municipal and industrial, Indian, and non-Indian users of <br />the CAP, during the fiscal year ending June 30,1990, <br /> <br />Subcontracts for non-Indian <br />agricultural water were offered to 23 <br />different entities. Of these, 10 have <br />entered into subcontracts for CAP <br />water service, 10 have declined, two <br />are still pending, and one was de- <br />clared ineligible. Subcontracts have <br />been signed for 70.7 percent of the <br />available non-Indian agricultural <br />water supply. <br /> <br /> <br />Fifty-four entities for munici- <br />pal and industrial water service have <br />signed subcontracts and five have <br />declined. As of July 1990, subcontracts have been signed for 78.96 percent of the <br />available non-Indian municipal and industrial water supply. <br /> <br />Water is delivered to the Phoenix Union Hills Water Treatment Plant. <br /> <br />Nine Indian entities have signed contracts with the United States. This <br />represents 44.1 percent of the allocated CAP water for Indian entities, <br /> <br />Contracts can be issued on an interim basis for CAP water service. The <br />Existing Interim Contracts' list reveals the users who have signed short-term <br />(two years or less) contracts for water service, <br /> <br />In the interim list, CAP customers listed under Subcontractors are the <br />entities that also have signed long-term contracts. The users listed under Non- <br />subcontractors have short-term only contracts for CAP water service, <br /> <br />19 <br />
