<br />The creek botto~ lands are in narro~, discontinuous tracts of allu-
<br />ViR~ in the broader portions of the canyons. Soils are coarse to medium
<br />te~~ured ~~d in places contain moderate amounts of ~alt and alkali which
<br />could be leached under irrigation. The lands would have a low drainage
<br />requirement. Of about 1~700 acres of arable creek bottom lands approxi-
<br />mtely 420 a'.::res are presently irrigated.. The lands range in elevation
<br />from 4,800 to 5,500 feet.
