(It is <br />estimated that serving the reservoir fishery purpose required minor extra <br /> <br />clearing of the reservoir basin. <br />reservoir fishery enhancement in <br />reservoirs.) <br /> <br />No costs were directly incurred to serve <br />construction of the other storage units' <br /> <br />Power Purpose <br /> <br />This separable cost consists of all of the allocable construction costs of: <br /> <br />powerplants and Switchyards of all Storage Units <br />Morrow Point Dam and Reservoir <br />Crystal Dam and Reservoir <br />Transmission Division <br /> <br />plus: <br /> <br />4.5% of the allocable construction cost of the Blue Mesa Dam <br />and Reservoir, including the Cimarron and Morrow Point Visitors <br />Centers, and General Property. <br /> <br />7.9% of the allocable construction cost of the Flaming Gorge Dam <br />and Reservoir, including General Property. <br /> <br />5.2% of the allocable construction cost of the Glen Canyon Dam <br />and Reservoir, including the Visitors center, General Property <br />and Abandoned Investigations Costs. <br /> <br />(It is estimated that without the power purpose the height of the Glen <br />Canyon Dam could have been reduced 8 feet and all but one power penstock <br />eliminated; the Flaming Gorge Dam could have been lowered 5 feet and all <br />power penstocks eliminated; and the Blue Mesa Dam could have been lowered <br />21 feet and the power penstocks omitted.) <br /> <br />Road Relocation Purpose <br />The incremental cost of relocating roads to "current" standards rather <br /> <br />than to the standard of the roads relocated is assigned directly to Road <br />Relocation as a separable cost. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Determination of Remaining Joint Cost by Purpose <br /> <br /> <br />The remaining joint costs are distributed among purposes using the follow- <br /> <br /> <br />ing percentages: <br /> <br />Irrigation and other consumptive uses <br />Power <br />Reservoir Fishery Enhancement <br />Flood Control <br />_ Total <br /> <br />38.26% <br />52.49% <br />7.88% <br />1.37'7. <br />100.00% <br />
