Among these studies are Udis, Howe, <br /> <br />and Kreider 0 s study of the UCRB economy/environmental quality inter- <br /> <br />relationship and Morris' examination of the economLC and water Lesource <br /> <br />Whatever the <br />1$ <br />economy~still <br /> <br />emphasis of the study, however, the problem of <br /> <br />2 <br />the UCRB. <br />mOdeling the <br /> <br />implications of energy development and new energy technologies in <br /> <br />essentially the same: <br /> <br />to characterize the interdependencies <br /> <br />of the Basin economy so that an initial economic change could be traced <br /> <br />through the economy and its total economic significance could be evaluated. <br /> <br />These total economic impacts may be used, in turn, to .estimate the associated <br /> <br />change in a large number of resource or environmental measures. <br /> <br />The resource which received special attention in all the reports noted <br /> <br />above is water.
