As a <br />result of this transfer, the existing Jackson Lake could become avail- <br />able for fish and wildlife and recreation uses. In its use for these <br />purposes, the content would be maintained at about 25,400 acre-feet. <br />Drawdown of the pool would result from evaporation and seepage only. <br />Evaporation losses would be 7,800 acre-feet and seepage losses ll,lOO <br />acre-feet per year. Replacement of these losses would be accomplished <br />by exchanging ,.ater into Jackson Lake from the Narrows Reservoir. The <br />gross annual gain to the project in the event of abandonment of Jackson <br />Lake would be limited to the evaporation losses, or 7,800 acre-feet, <br />since the seepage losses would return to the Narrows Reservoir. <br /> <br />The operation studies indicated that an average annual project yield <br />of 88,400 acre-feet could be obtained from reservoir regulation, plus the <br />31,000 acre-foot direct yield from the Weldon Valley right, or a total <br />project supplemental irrigation supply of 119,400 acre-feet.
