No parameters exceed the water
quality standards for this portion of the Eagle River.

(The Homestake Phase II diversions will not impact water quality of the
Roaring Fork River since no diversions will be made in that basin.)

The Sundeen and Fifer Report (Attachment 13) concurs that no salinity
problem will result from this project in Eagle County. Jurisdiction
over salinity in the Colorado River Basin is the charge of the State and
Federal Governments which seek to allow development of water projects in
the upper Basin States while using basin-wide projects to reduce any
increase in salinity which may occur.

(h) Detail Water Utilization Including Historic Yield From Rights
And Uses By Category And Supply Obligations To Other Systems;

The Homestake Water Project diverts 28,000 acre feet on an average
annual basis. From all sources, the City of Colorado Springs currently
has a water supply capability of 82,500 acre feet of average annual
yield. The City of Aurora has a water supply capability of 44,400 acre
feet of average annual yield. Other than military installations, there
are no supply obligations to other systems from Colorado Springs; Aurora
has committed 2,500 acre feet to the City of Pueblo, and ultimately
3,100 acre feet to Roxborough District.
