It was prepared by the Missouri River Basin
Commission and includes about 550 data collection, research,
special study, river basin planning, feasibility study, and
implementation programs. The plan was developed by State-Federal
subbasin planning teams in accordance with State and Federal
planning objectives and policies to address identified water
resources problems and opportunities. The environmental impact
statement focuses on the qualitative effects of implementation
programs in the plan and reflects an analysis that matches the
level of detail addressed in planning. The impacts of the
programs and projects are discussed according to the functional
categories used in development of the plan.

RESPONSIBLE AGENCY: Missouri River Basin COmmission
Suite 403, 10050 Regency Circle
Omaha, Nebraska 68114

RESPONSIBLE FEDERAL OFFICIAL: Millard W.
