An army of trucks passed
through Dolores headed for
Barlow Cret>k. They loaded
up with boulders, some
wl'ighing a couple of tons,
and came back down river
to the McPhee Dam site_
The boulders ranged in
SIZl' from 12 inchei to 3 ff't't
by 3 feet. Some 170,cro
cubic yards of rod was
authorized to bl' takl"n from
Barlow Creek.

The trip .....as about 40
miles one way.
