The Bureau also determined that additional water <br />releases and management changes would have "no effect" to the Colorado <br />squawfish, razorback sucker, roundtai1 chub, and f1anne1mouth sucker in the <br />San Juan River Basin. <br /> <br />The Service believes that the proposed water management and acquisitjon "may <br />affect" the listed species. However, the Service believes that the actions <br />under alternative 1 or 2 are "not likely to adversely affect" the listed . <br />species in either river basin and are beneficial, discountable, or <br />insignificant. Consequently, if alternative 1 or 2 is chosen there will be no <br />need for formal consultation. Because the Bureau of Reclamation (Bureau) has <br />not yet selected an alternative, the Service requests that the Bureau contact <br />the Service once a selection is made.
