<br />Since all of the potential available sources of water Reclamation would <br />acquire are not currently being used, the acquisition of any or all of this <br />water would not result in an actual depletion from the San Juan River, but <br />would rather leave it in the Dolores River drainage. Therefore, any action <br />taken by Reclamation to acquire undeveloped water would not directly impact <br />endangered or candidate fish populations existing in the San Juan River. In <br />summary, Reclamation concludes this action would not effect either the <br />protected Colorado squawfish and razorback sucker or their proposed critical <br />habitat or the candidate species; the flannelmouth sucker and roundtail chub. <br /> <br />16 <br />
