The names of the sub-
basins, identifYing the complete set of reports, are as follows:

Sub-basin 1 - upper Missouri River Tributaries

Sub-basin 2 - The Yellowstone Basin

I

Sub-basin 3 - Western Dakota Tributaries

Sub-basin 4 - Eastern Dakota Tributaries

I

Sub-basin 5 - The Platte-Niobrara Basin

Sub-basin 6 - Middle Missouri River Tributaries

I

Sub-basin 7 - The Kansas Basin

I
I

Sub-basin 8 - Lower Missouri River Tributaries

Sub-basin 9 - The Missouri River Main Stem
(Also includes data for areas in upper and Lower
Mississippi and Hudson Bay basins)

I

For each gaging station selected for inclusion in this series of
reports, there is a brief description of its location, size of drainage
area, and average discharge followed by tables of flow duration and high
and low-flow sequences. Also listed for each year of record are the
average discharge and the instantaneous peak discharge for each station.

I

I
I
I

I
