000599

APPENDIX C: FY-2002 - 2003 PROJECT DESCRIPTIONS

Descriptions of the projects contained in the FY 2002 - 2003 work plan follow. Lead agency and
FY 2002 project cost are shown in parentheses. A project's total "out year cost" is shown after the
project description. Outyear cost is the estimated funding needed from FY 2003 through project
completion. For Program Management and other ongoing projects, outyear cost represents
annual cost. The projects are listed by recovery element, in the order that they appear in
Appendix A. Projects are not necessarily numbered consecutively, since project numbers have
remained unique since FY 94.

More detailed descriptions of each project can be found in the Revised Scopes of Work for
FY 2002 - 2003 Work Plan Activities, available from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service,
Colorado River Recovery Program, P.O. Box 25486, Denver, Colorado, 80225 (or contact
Angela Kantola at 303/969-7322, ext. 221 or Angela KantolalalfWs.gov). These scopes also are
available online at htto://www.r6.fWs.gov/crrio/sow.htm.

1. IDENTIFY. PROVIDE AND PROTECT INSTREAM FLOWS

I
Ii
I;

A.
