A consider- <br /> <br />able number have been idle for years, and while same of them <br /> <br />have been put under cultivation again recently little has been <br /> <br />done to improve the condition of the buildings, fences and <br /> <br />ditches. <br /> <br />Mortgages <br /> <br />Of the farms partly irrigated, 24 percent of those in <br /> <br />.', .,' <br /> <br />Colorado and 58 percent in New Mexico are mortgaged.
