Although no accurate <br /> <br /> <br />estimate can be made. for the 1925 flood, low bottom lands were <br /> <br /> <br />flooded and crops destrpyed. In contrast to the channel erosion <br /> <br /> <br />of the 1904 flood, it is probable the flow of 1925 was generally <br /> <br /> <br />confined to the immediate stream bed. Damages from this flood are <br /> <br /> <br />estimated at about $5,000. <br /> <br /> <br />Four oounty bridges were washed out in the 1904 flood <br /> <br /> <br />with an estimated damage of $lO,OOO. No report is available <br /> <br /> <br />for 1925. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />R. I. Meeker, then Assistant Engineer, U.S.G.S., estimated <br /> <br /> <br />the railroad damage due to the 1904 flood at $93,000.
