<br />',r' <br />j~ <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />NEBRASKA <br /> <br />The inventory of wells in the Platte-Republican divide area <br />was continued and the inventory of wells in the Lower Niobrara River <br />l2!!U!l was completed. Water samples for chemical analysis were collected <br />in the Platte-Republican divide area and in the Loup River basin. The <br />reconnaissance of the Upper Niobrara River basin and the Upper Elkhorn <br />River bas~ was begun. Routine water-level measurements were made in the <br />LouD-Platte divide area, the Lower Loup River basin, the Salt Creek basin, <br />the North Platte irri~ation project. and the Pwnokin Creek area. The <br />preparation of reports on the reconnaissance of the LoUD River and ~ <br />Niobrara River basins was begun. <br /> <br />CotoRAOO AND NEBRASKA <br /> <br />Field studies in the Frenchman Creek draina~e basin were con- <br />tinued. Four aquifer performance tests were made, 15 test holes were <br />drilled, 5 water samples were collected for chemical analysis, the alti- <br />tude of 20 wells was determined by instrumental levelling, and 225 wells <br />were inventoried. <br /> <br />COLORADO <br /> <br />Routine water-level measurements were made in the Kansas River <br /> <br />~. <br />
