This resulted in reservoir <br />levels which were generally less than expected. The exception <br />being the Green River where runoff was high enough to keep Powell <br />slightly above projections. Total contents in CRSP increased <br />19,380 a.f. during April but dropped 20,000 a.f. in Lake Mead. <br /> <br />Overall, releases were about as projected but did vary <br />noticeably on a reservoir by reservoir basis. Total releases to <br />the Lower Basin for the water year now stand at approximately <br />10.6 maf. The only power plant bypass during April again occured <br />at Crystal (39,740 a.f.). <br /> <br />The increased forecast on May 1st (just less than Upper <br />Decile) should now again be able to fill the reservoirs and in <br />fact will result in future power plant bypasses at several reser- <br />voirs as long as average conditions or better continue during <br />this runoff season. <br /> <br />Attached are the April observation summary tables. <br /> <br />/bm <br /> <br />711 <br />mem/cOl <br /> <br />Herhert H.
