Laws of the Administration (Article VII (5)), the <br />receipts and disbursements of the Administration have been <br />'audited for the period commencing November I, 1951 through <br />October 31, 1952 the end of the report'year. The report of <br />such audit is hereto attached as Appendix A. <br /> <br />6. Cooperative Studies and Activities <br /> <br />- '(;i)-KrticleVlIl;G~( 1 )of-the-Arl<ansas River CompacC requires <br />the Administration to cooperate with the Chief Official of each <br />of the States of Colorado and Kansas charged with the admin' <br />istration of water rights and with the Federal agencies in a <br />systematic determination and correlation of the facts as to the <br />flow and diversion of the waters of the Arkansas River and as <br />to the operation and siltation of John Martin Reservoir and <br />other related structures. Article VlIl.G.(2) requests the Di. <br />rector of the United States Geological Survey, the Commissioner <br />of Reclamation, and the Chief of Engineers, United States <br />Army, to collaborate with the Administration and with appro-- <br />priate State officials in such determin'ation and correlation of <br />stream flow and related data. The carrying out of these co~ <br />operative studies and activities is assigned, under the By-Laws <br />of the Administration, to the Engineering Committee. <br /> <br />7 <br />
