The estimate of 3200 AI' of water rupresents an uppe'r bound for the amount of converted water, and was determined as follows: 1. Apprximately 200 acres will be in open water; the balance of the land--much of which is currently hayland--will be used for wildlife habitat and aquatic crops such as rice, millet, etc. In the absence of additional details it seems reasonable that an upper bound for the consumptive use of water for these purposes is given by the product of the marsh- land acreage and the consumptive irrigation use factor of 2.l2 AF/acre. 3.'
