BUREAU OF RECLAMATION CONTINUES NEGOTIATIONS
ON OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE CONTRACT
WITH THE GRAND VALLEY IRRIGATION COMPANY

The Grand Valley Irrigation Company and the Bureau of

Reclamation will continue negotiations on a contract to provide
,

for the long-term operation and maintenance of salinity

improvements to be developed as part of the Grand Valley Unit of

the Colorado River Basin Salinity Control Project. The meeting

is scheduled for 9 a.m., TueSday, August 14, 1990, at the Bureau

of Reclamation's Office, 2764 Compass Drive, Grand Junction,

Colorado.

The contract will provide for the operation, maintenance, and
replacement of improvements constructed as part of the Grand
Valley Unit.

The public is invited as observers and may ask questions
pertaining to the contract at the end of the negotiating session.
Copies of the contract will be made available at the Grand Valley
